AN AGENDA.
EVERY REPORTER HAS ONE.
DO YOU?

An interview with the media can be a golden opportunity to increase your exposure, clarify your position or set the record straight. Don't be thrown by an unexpected phone call from the press, the bright lights of a television studio or the pressure to effectively communicate your message in a limited period of time. Learn how to turn an encounter with the media to your best advantage.

Grace Under Fire will help you become a skilled and confident media spokesperson. Individual and small group sessions will give you the strategies and techniques to manage the most challenging interview situations.

POINTS OF FOCUS
You will learn what makes a story newsworthy and how to develop a media plan that will ensure a successful media encounter. Skillfully "managing perception" will help you come across as credible and professional. Participants are prepared to deal with interviews via each branch of the media: television, radio and print; as well as to anticipate the types of questions reporters use to get the information they're after. This preparation reduces nervousness and helps you avoid being quoted out of context. While you may have no control over what questions will be asked during an interview, you can control what you say and how you say it.

Private and small group seminars are designed to meet the client's specific media goals.
